Informatics Study Program of the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics UPGRIS is currently accredited "Excellent" by the Informatics and Computer Self-Accreditation Institute (LAMINFOKOM) based on the LAM INFOKOM Decree number 0.45/SK/LAM-INFOKOM/Ak/S/III/2024. We have a vision to become a developer of informatics science, especially in the field of web-based technology and artificial intelligence that is superior and self-sufficient. The graduate profile we aim for is as a Web Programmer who understands Algorithms, has expertise in solving problems using programming languages, building web applications and information systems and has the ability to analyze, design, modify, test and maintain databases. Another profile is as an AI Engineer who is able to apply artificial intelligence concepts, such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, expert systems, decision support systems, pattern recognition, and computational intelligence, to gain insight from existing data. To support the vision and profile of these graduates we have excellent courses including: Web Service Technology, Cloud Computing, Computer Vision, NLP, and Business Intelligence.

Cooperation with relevant institutions has been established with various parties, both university and industrial institutions. Informatics Study Program carried out international cooperation in the field of education with Lecture Series activities on behalf of Noora Qotrun Nada, Mega Novita, Febrian Murti Dewanto and Nugroho Dwi Saputro with DMMSU Philippines. Mr. Nugroho also taught Web Design for 1 semester to ISATU Philippines students. In addition, it also implements MoUs with several businesses and industries with the implementation of Field Work Practices or industrial internships, among others at Netasia (Golden Style Management PTE LTD), PT Jala Lintas Media, Metro Data and others. Netasia is a company in Singapore with a internship student named Arsha Raulnadi Trikusuma (NPM 18670028). Industrial internships are carried out regularly and consistently with various partners. In April-May 2024, one of the Informatics lecturers, Mrs. Noora Qotrun Nada, also participated in the Faculty Exchange program for 1 month at Nueva Ecija University Science and Technology Phillipines (NEUST). In the program, she did Sharing Lecture, Joint Research and exploration in the fields of teaching, facilities, laboratories and so on. Cooperation in the field of research includes Joint Research between lecturer Bambang Agus Herlambang M.Kom and Assoc. Prof. (Dr.) Alok Singh Chauhan (alok.chauhan@abes.ac.in) - IT Department, ABES Engineering College, India with the title Detection Of Heart Disease Using Machine Learning Algorithm. Cooperation in the form of Joint student publication on behalf of Maylia Fatmawati (NPM 21670044) with the title Maternal Health Risk Classification - A Comparison between Algorithm Decision Tree and k-Nearest Neighbor (kNN), published in IEEE Xplore proceedings. International level cooperation in the field of PkM is also carried out with foreign universities, namely the University of Technology Malaysia (UTM) in the form of Joint Community Service activities. This activity contains community empowerment in Munding Village, Semarang Regency. Lecturers who participated in this activity were Bambang A Herlambang, Noora Qotrun Nada, and Mega Novita. Cooperation in the field of community service at the national level was carried out by lecturer Khoiriya Latifah in collaboration with PT Bisa Artifisial Indonesia related to Data Science.
